Payment Instructions & Fees

Local Philippine Payments

Those who are applying from the Philippines may make their payment for the following:

  1. STB, STL, STD, PTS, CTS, and CPAM Applicants:
    Application Fee (Php 225.00) and Entrance Exam fee (Php 1,300.00)
  2. Non-Degree Certificate Applicants:
    Application Fee (Php 225.00)

by making a bank transfer to:

Proof of payment (deposit slip or cash transfer receipt) must be scanned and sent to Ms. Jane Deseo (secretariat@lst.edu). Email must include name of Applicant and program being applied for.

After verification of payment, Ms. Deseo will inform the applicant by email of the schedule of the entrance examination.

Payments from Abroad

Those who are applying from abroad may make their payment for the following:

STB, STL, STD, PTS, CTS, and CPAM Applicants:
Application and Entrance Exam fees (US$ 50)

via wire/telegraphic transfer to LST’s Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) Dollar bank account.

Proof of remittance (cash transfer receipt) must be scanned and sent to Ms. Jane Deseo (secretariat@lst.edu). Email must include name of Applicant and program being applied for.

Checklist of Requirements

Ecclesiastical Degree Programs
  1. Duly accomplished LST application form (A001)
  2. One ID picture (2” x 2”) (jpeg).
  3. Photocopy of original Transcript of Records (TOR) from previous school (undergraduate or graduate) and its English translation if the TOR is in a foreign language
  4. Photocopy of original diploma or certificate of graduation
  5. Letter of Recommendation from the Religious Superior, Bishop, or Official of the applicant’s institution
  6. Please write a personal essay (2 pages, single-spaced) that covers the following:
    • Reasons for graduate study at LST and the choice of your program of study
    • Qualities and experiences which you feel will help you or give you difficulties in your chosen
      program of study; constraints or difficulties that you anticipate encountering in your studies
    • Potential contribution of an LST graduate education to your ministry and to the larger society
  7. Ateneo Graduate Admission Test (Bulatao Center) will be administered online. The LST Academic Secretary will contact the Applicant to schedule this exam.
  8. Application and Test Fees (Please see separate instructions for payment of these fees).
  9. For international applicants, photocopies of passport (data page only) and visa or Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR) card (photocopy both sides of the card)

    Additional Requirements for STL and STD Programs:
  10. Applicants to the STL program are required to submit one major research paper they have written in their STB course work.
  11. Applicants to the STD program are required to submit
    • a copy of their Licentiate tesina.
    • an essay describing why they are pursuing the doctorate, mentioning the area they wish to pursue in their dissertation (takes the place of no.6 above).
Diploma Programs

Those with at least an undergraduate (college) degree or its equivalent may be admitted to the Program. Applicants will be required to take an Entrance Examination.

The following application requirements should be uploaded to LST’s Student Online Application Receiver (SOAR) upon application at https://lst.edu/admission/application/a002/:

  1. One ID picture (2 in. x 2 in.)
  2. One photocopy of the original Transcript of Records from a previous school and its English translation if the Transcript is in a foreign language
  3. One page single-spaced Personal Essay introducing oneself and indicating one’s motivation in applying to the Diploma Program
  4. Letter of Recommendation from the Religious Superior, Bishop, or Official of the applicant’s institution
  5. Your digital signature
  6. For International Applicants, photocopy of passport and visa
