Basic Concepts in Psycho-Sexual Formation

This course is designed to tackle basic concepts and issues essential in moving towards psycho-sexual maturity. The topics discussed are aimed to inform, engage and challenge the students in their understanding of psycho-sexual formation in the context of consecrated life and ministry. Topics include notions of sexuality, physical and psychosexual development, development of sexual identity, problematic sexuality, wounding and healing, affective sexuality, intimacy and chaste/celibate sexuality.
