This course provides an overview of human development from a life-span perspective. It approaches peoples well-being as the goal of development. It covers basic principles and theories of the Life Cycle, and the widening of peoples choices and capability in life. It addresses the physical, cognitive and social factors that shape human developmental transformations that occur across the lifespan, as well as specialized topics in these areas. It likewise helps the students to recognize life transitions, and to cope and manage such changes in order to promote their personal growth.
