Abstract:
This tesina focuses on narratives of internally displaced Ukrainians (IDP) amidst the war and how these stories speak about the Christian hope defined by Jurgenn Moltmann. Inspired by Paul Ricoeur’s mimetic theory, this tesina analyzed personal stories of Ukrainian IDPs, gathered specifically for this study, and brought to light theological interpretations on Christian hope.
Furthermore, this tesina aims at raising awareness on how migrants, in general, can contribute to doing theology through a better understanding of how their experiences speak about hope – which is innately Christian – in today’s globalized world.
