Congratulations to LST-Center for Family Ministries professor and counselor, Dr. Maria Cynthia Javier-Gavino, whose doctoral dissertation “Challenges and Coping Experiences of Seafarer Wives Given their Cyclical Separation from their Spouse” was awarded Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation (First Place) by the Psychological Association of the Philippines in 2018.
Dr. Gavino has been a Senior Family Counselor, Psychologist, Professor and Resource Speaker of CEFAM for the past 20 years.
