I am a religious sister from the Congregation of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary. I took up the non-degree Diploma in Integral Ecology at LST last 2021-2022. Taking up this course is a big help for me. I am assigned in one of our communities involved in pastoral ministry for relocated typhoon survivors. I take care of the youth and some mothers in the whole village of more than 200 families. Since I started the course, I also started integrating my learnings in our weekly Gospel sharing and “kumustahan”. Later on, I encouraged the youth leaders to think and plan some activities to care for our Mother Earth.

I completed my Master of Arts in Theological Studies program in LST last 2021, truly a spiritually enlightening and transformative experience. As a scholarship grantee, I experienced not just financial relief but also a profound sense of empowerment and gratitude, understanding that theological formation is not merely an academic pursuit but a holistic journey. LST provided me with a sacred space that fostered my spiritual growth and connected me with great yet humble professors and fellow students who share a common journey of faith. As a current theology teacher, my experience in LST is a story of gratitude, lay empowerment, and God’s boundless love. I am forever grateful for the scholarship that LST has offered me.
