Please find below the policies for limited operations at the Fr. Ralph B. Gehring SJ Library from 20 August and the entire First Semester:
A.   Library Access

The library is currently on limited operations from August 20, 2020 until the entire First Semester.

During this period, aside from LST staff and administrators, only Ateneo Campus Residents are allowed inside the library.

LST faculty and students who live outside the campus are not allowed to enter the library.

Use the LST online library catalog (https://lstlibrary.admu.edu.ph/) to search for books available for loan in the general collection.

A book request email is sent to the Library Director (Â egenilo@lst.edu) listing the titles, authors, and call numbers of the books to be borrowed.

The library staff will locate and process the books.

The Library Director will contact the borrower for arrangements to pick up the books. Allow for at least a week to process the book request.

The borrower is allowed to keep the books for a month instead of the usual two-week period. Policy regarding fines for overdue books will apply.

To return books, email the Library Director (Â egenilo@lst.edu) to make arrangements.

For books borrowed before June 1, 2020, overdue fines incurred starting March 10, 2020 are waived.

Research inside the library is not allowed.

If a journal article is unavailable online a request can be made to the Library Director (Â egenilo@hotmail.com) for a soft copy of the journal article (if possible). Allow for at least a week to process the request.

For library material that cannot be lent out, send an email request for a scanned copy of the material (within reasonable and legal limits) to the Library Director. Allow for at least a week to process the request.
