The Ecclesiastical Faculty Loyola School of Theology is the second most international Jesuit theological institution in the world, next to the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. In Asia, LST has the most diverse composition of international students, a vibrant academic community with an enrollment in the Second Semester of Academic Year 2022-2023 of 496 seminarians, priests, lay, and religious students (298 Filipinos or 60.08% and 198 international students or 39.92%) representing 33 countries, 77 religious congregations, and 40 dioceses around the world.

LST is one of the seven (7) English-speaking faculties of theology in the world administered by the Society of Jesus and is the only one in the Jesuit Conference of Asia Pacific.

Our faculty is composed of Filipino and International Professors trained in the Philippines, Asia, Europe, and North America with expertise in Systematic, Biblical, Moral, and Pastoral Theology, Church History, Canon Law, Spirituality and Retreat Direction, Migration Theology, Philosophy, Religious Education, Pastoral Counseling and Family Ministry, Asian Religions, and Ancient and Modern Languages.
