Giving the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius

Module 4 of the Center for Ignatian Spirituality provides an opportunity for participants to acquire a working knowledge of the specific parts and texts of the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius. The course is designed to equip the participants with adequate knowledge and skills in order to give the Spiritual Exercises in daily life. The process seeks to guide participants through conferences, reflective reading, personal and common prayer, faith sharing and spiritual direction, whether one-on-one or in groups. Prerequisites: Theo 282.1/394.1 (Foundations for Directed Retreat), Theo 282.2/394.2 (Fundamentals of Directed Retreat-Giving) and Theo 282.3/394.3 (Supervised Retreat-Giving Experience). Course requirements: reflection papers, book reports, and others, to be assigned at the discretion of the Director of the Center for Ignatian Spirituality.
